How it works

Twenty seconds from trigger to eyes on.

Four fixed cameras cover four angles. Luna covers the parcel. It launches on an event, flies a route you set once, streams live while you watch, and puts itself back on the dock.

Luna flies inside the boundary you trace at setup. Crossing it is not a setting it declines to use. It is a limit the firmware does not expose.

The route

You draw the boundary once, and then it is not a setting any more.

The polygon you trace at setup becomes the flight path, and it becomes a hard firmware constraint the aircraft cannot cross. Not a preference. Not a toggle in an advanced menu. Not something a later update can quietly widen, because widening it would mean shipping different firmware and saying so.

Setup to standing watch

Four steps, and only the first one needs you.

  1. 01

    Trace

    On setup you walk your property line in the app once. That polygon becomes the flight route and, more importantly, it becomes the geofence.

  2. 02

    Arm

    You pick what launches it: a specific sensor, a doorbell, a time of night, or nothing at all if you would rather launch it by hand.

  3. 03

    Fly

    A trigger fires, the dock opens, and you are watching within twenty seconds. You can take the stick at any point or let it fly the route.

  4. 04

    Return

    It lands itself, charges itself, and writes the recording to the dock. Nothing is uploaded, because there is nowhere configured to upload it to.

Where the thinking happens

The model runs in the dock, not in a data centre.

This is the decision everything else follows from. Detection runs on hardware inside your house, so video never leaves the property to be processed. It is cheaper to run, it is faster to respond, and it is the reason we can say we hold no keys and have that be a fact about the machine rather than a promise about our behaviour.

Questions people actually ask

What if my neighbours object?
Luna is geofenced to your parcel in firmware, and the camera points down and inward while moving, so neighbouring property is not captured in the first place. It is not captured and then discarded. That distinction is the one that matters legally, and it is the one that matters to the neighbour.
Is it loud?
Under 250 grams with small props, so it sits closer to a kitchen extractor than to a lawnmower, and a patrol lasts under two minutes. It is audible. It is not an event.
What happens if the wifi is cut?
The dock keeps recording and keeps detecting, because inference runs on the dock rather than in a data centre. Cutting the internet degrades your notifications, not your security. Cellular backup is part of the optional monitoring subscription.
Do I need a licence to fly it?
Under 250 grams there is no FAA registration requirement for recreational use. Version one flies while you are present and watching, which is what current Part 107 rules allow over your own property.
What about rain and snow?
The dock is weather sealed. Luna does not launch into conditions it should not fly in, and it tells you which condition stopped it rather than failing silently.
Who can make you hand over my footage?
Nobody, because there is nothing to hand over. We hold no decryption keys, so a subpoena served on us produces ciphertext we cannot read. A warrant for your footage has to be served on you.

Luna ships to the first 500 homes.

Join the list and you take a position. Refer someone and you move up it. No deposit, no card, and we will not sell your address any more than we would sell your footage.
